About Us

Water & Earth Sciences was established in 1989 by Robert Kirkner, a Professional Geologist certified in Florida and Georgia. We are Water Resource Consultants who have provided technical support to the regulated community for over 35 years. Our staff has completed hundreds of scientific investigations addressing a broad spectrum of environmental challenges. We specialize in water supply development, permitting and contamination assessment, soil and ground water remediation, surface water investigations, ground water modeling and expert testimony.

Our experience over the last several decades has included major projects for private enterprise, local and state government agencies and the military. During this time, we have assisted hundreds of clients in obtaining permits from City and County governments, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Water Management Districts and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

As a leading provider of water resource consulting services, we take pride in solving the problems of our clients in a cost-effective manner.

We help our clients obtain and remain in compliance with Industrial Operating Permits, Consumptive/Water Use Permits,  Environmental Resource Permits and other requirements specific to our client's industry/land use.

Water & Earth Sciences, Inc. has decades of experience in the assessment and remediation of soil and ground water contamination. We have evaluated hundreds of discharges involving almost every contaminant class including landfills, petroleum product spills, spray-fields, storage ponds, commercial carrier releases, and industrial process discharges.
