Water Use Development and Permitting
WES has obtained Water/Consumptive Use Permits from Water Management Districts statewide for a broad spectrum of uses that include mining, agriculture, industrial operation, golf course management, municipal supply and surface water augmentation and dewatering. As part of the permitting process, we collect and evaluate support data to determine what, if any, level of impact may be associated with the water use. We typically design and monitor data collection networks as required to demonstrate our client's compliance with applicable regulations.
Our water supply development experience has ranged from small, single well supply permitting to the evaluation of large industrial and municipal wellfields where supply capacity exceeds 30 million gallons per day. |
